Description
There's nothing quite like seeing a neatly clipped, cleverly shaped hedge in a formal garden scheme, many famous gardens have topiary hedges which add grandeur and artistry to the displays and there is no reason why you shouldn't too, on whatever scale you like! These five varieties of well known hedging plants have been chosen as they all grow well with regular clipping, in fact the more often they are trimmed the better the growth habit becomes and the neater they look. They can be grown to almost any height you require and are also easy to establish, the only thing left to do is to decide if you want formal, perfectly straight lines or more adventurous shapes in your garden. Height: 12m (39'). Spread: 8m (26'). Planting Distance: 30cm (12"). (minimum 4 plants per metre for a sngle line hedge). This collection comprises:
  • English Yew
  • Box
  • Privet
  • Golden Privet
  • Green Beech
