Description
This neat compact variety forms a mound of narrow, green foliage topped with eye-catching bi-colour flowers. Each raspberry red bloom boasts a contrasting, maroon-black ring at its centre, and a sweet, spicy fragrance. Dianthus ‘Early Love’ is a lovely new variety of Pink that makes a particularly good container plant, or a colourful low edging for the front of borders. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 25cm (10").

How to Grow
Pot up dianthus plants into pots of free-draining compost, and grow dianthus on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant dianthus outdoors in moist, well drained soil that has been enriched with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. Choose a position in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until dianthus plants are fully established. Deadhead faded dianthus flowers frequently to encourage more blooms to be produced.
