Compact, elegant and semi-evergreen this winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit blooms continuously from April to October making it unbeatable as a low maintenance shrub.

With Daphne 'Pink Fragrance'. Beautiful clusters of pink flowers bloom over an exceptionally long period from March right through to October. This lovely daphne variety will keep foliage all year round. Compact and slow-growing, 'Pink Fragrance' will thrive in a container in free-draining, fertile soil in a sunny spot – make the most of its lovely fragrance and position one either side of a door so that the perfume wafts in.

How to Grow
Caution: Irritant to skin and eyes. Toxic if eaten. Grow Daphne shrubs in moist, fertile, well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Choose a position in sun or semi shade. When growing in containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Daphne plants resent root disturbance so try to avoid this when transplanting as this may delay plant establishment.
More Info
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, Daphne bushes require only occasional attention. Pruning Daphne is best kept to a minimum, removing only occasional damaged stems and lightly trimming those that spoil the shape of the plant in summer after flowering.
