Description
A small deciduous shrub that shows itself off wonderfully in early summer with a profuse covering of cream and crimson flowers, Cytisus 'Hollandia' is an easy to keep variety of Broom. Tolerant of most soil types and conditions although best grown in full sun to really show of its potential, this plant is a valuable addition to the back of a border or as part of a shrub collection. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread 150cm (59").

How to Grow
Plant Broom into garden borders in fertile, well drained garden soil, in full shade Cytisus is a very useful shrub, which can also tolerate poor soils, or planting onto sloping ground.
More Info
Broom should be trimmed back during May, after plants have flowered. You can also rejuvenate Broom plants over a 3 year period by pruning out a third of the branches each year, again after flowering.
