Cherry 'Dubbele Meikers' - Self-Fertile - Cooking Cherry
Imagine growing two different varieties of cherry on one tree. Even better - this compact little cherry tree will fit on your patio or balcony! Our novel duo fruit trees are perfect for small spaces and make excellent container plants. Two varieties are grafted onto one stem to create the perfect partnership which will pollinate each other to produce good crop yields. Despite being dwarf trees, the fruits will be of normal size. Duo Cherry combines two dessert varieties, 'Hedelfinger and Dubbele Meikers', both with a fabulous, sweet flavour. If grown in containers, these naturally dwarf trees will reach a mature height of just 1.5-1.8m.
This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner.
Estimated time to cropping once planted: 2 years.
Estimated time to best yields: 4 years.
