Description
This unusual deciduous shrub is rarely seen in UK gardens. Commonly known as the button bush, Cephalanthus occidentalis bears creamy-white, rounded, button-like flowers from late summer to autumn, with powerful fragrance. The blooms are followed by spherical golden brown fruits that extend its season of interest well into winter. Both the blooms and the fruits are attractive to wildlife, making this a useful addition to wildlife areas. Height: 200cm (78"). Spread: 250cm (98").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
