Description
Carex 'Amazon Mist' is a breezy, arching sedge that delivers movement and texture to the garden in spades! This robust ornamental grass forms a rounded clump of slender, silvery-green foliage with a gently curl. Tough and reliable, this low maintenance perennial will spill over the edge of containers and borders, softening planting schemes with its evergreen leaves. Perfect for adding year round colour, texture and interest to the garden, thriving in almost any site or soil. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").

How to Grow
Pot up plugs and grow them on in cool, frost free conditions until plants are well grown. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out in there final positions. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants, use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture.
