Very easy to grow, low, compact plant that comes into flower quickly from seed. The colours of Candytuft Dwarf Fairyland Mixed radiate through lilac, silver, pink , maroon, carmine and white and after flowering leave behind exquisite seed heads - just right for everlasting flower arrangements. Height: 23cm (9"). Spread: 23cm (9").

Sowing

Sow outdoors where they are to flower. Before sowing, prepare the ground well by raking until the soil is fine and crumbly and remove any large stones. Sow 6mm (1/4") deep, in rows 30cm (12") apart, or scatter seed in beds or borders as a gap filler and lightly cover over. Thin out the seedlings when they are large enough to handle, to about 30cm (12") apart.

Water regularly until candytuft plants are fully established. Cut back the plants to remove faded candytuft flowers and maintain a neat, compact habit.
