Description
The majestic, purple-black spathes of Arum 'Odessa' rise elegantly above its glossy foliage in summer. This showy Zantedeschia boasts arrow-shaped foliage, speckled with silvery markings that make an attractive display, even before the flowers appear. Commonly known as Calla Lily, this glamorous is perennial is half-hardy, requiring a warm, bright position during the coldest months of the year. Perfect for a bright windowsill or conservatory in winter. Move it outdoors in summer where it will make an exotic patio plant for a long-lasting display. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 40cm (16").

1 x 12cm potted plant (KB9048)
3 x 12cm potted plants (KB9046)

How to Grow
Half hardy Arum lilies are sensitive to temperatures and prefer to be kept in a cooler room at between 12C (55F) and 18C (65F). They are best positioned in a brightly lit spot, but not in the full glare of the sun – an east or west facing window is ideal. During the summer months they can be moved to outdoors to a bright spot on the patio.
More Info
Water regularly throughout the growing season, allowing the pot to drain well after each watering. Ensure that the soil is kept reliably moist. Avoid leaving Arum in standing water as this may cause it to rot. Feed Arums every 2 weeks until the flowers have faded. In winter, move Arum Lilies to a bright warm greenhouse, conservatory or windowsill at a minimum temperature of 12C (55F). Reduce watering to keep the compost barely moist until new shoots appear in spring.
