Description
These trailing snapdragons will really give your hanging baskets the ‘wow’ factor! Antirrhinum 'Candelabra' is a colourful mix with a robust, free-flowering habit. Short, cascading stems spill from baskets, window boxes and patio pots in a carefree display. Equally good in borders, where their spreading stems will form a carpet of colour. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 25cm (10").

Culinary note: These pretty flowers can be used as garnishes or dressings but can have a bland or sometimes bitter taste. For more details about edible flowers click here.

1 large antirrhinum collecton (48 plugs & 4 x 30cm BloomAround baskets) (KA9065)

How to Grow
Pot up snapdragon plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions before transplanting into baskets and containers. Pinch out growing tips while the plants are still small to encourage bushier growth. Once they are well grown, acclimatise baskets and containers of antirrhinum plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before placing in their final positions outdoors a sheltered, sunny spot.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until snapdragons are fully established. Snapdragons particularly dislike wet soil so take care not to overwater them. Deadhead faded antirrhinum flowers frequently throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.
