Description
The Cape Mallow is a half hardy perennial that grows really well in patio containers and even in sheltered flower beds. The Hollyhock like flowers completely cover the green foliage through the summer months, making it a firm favourite of butterflies and bees, who love the high nectar content. Anisodontea 'Elegans Princess' is being supplied in a standard form, which means it is going to look perfect in patio pots to really make a focal point or statement in your garden! Height: 120cm (47").

Please note – plants supplied approximately 50cm high. Anisodontea are half hardy and are best enjoyed on a windowsill or conservatory over the winter months. Alternatively keep in a frost free greenhouse before planting out in late spring.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 14 cm potted anisodontea plant (standard) (KA6592)
2 x 14 cm potted anisodontea plant (standard) ( KA9682)

How to Grow
Grow Anisodontea in rich fertile, well drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Cape Mallow is half hardy. In all but the mildest areas, grow it in a patio container which can be easily moved to a frost free greenhouse over the winter months.
More Info
Feed and water regularly to keep the compost evenly moist. Young growth of Anisodontea should be pinched back to produce bushier growth.
