Description
A striking bicolour variety boasting pretty pin-striped flowers of pale-blue with a royal-blue streak to each petal. This a particularly eye-catching variety with a neat and compact habit. A worthy choice for planting at the front of perennial borders where it provides structure and good textural interest throughout the summer. In sheltered locations, Agapanthus ‘Moonlight Star’ may remain evergreen, delivering year-round ground cover. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

1 x 9cm potted agapanthus plant (KC0859)

How to Grow
Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
More Info
Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
