Due to the on-going impact of COVID-19 we have seen an unprecedented spike in orders driven by the high demand of people staying at home and wanting to get out in their gardens, and as such it may take a little longer than usual to get your order out to you. We have responded to the increase in orders by introducing extra shifts for our Despatch and Contact Centre teams. In order to answer your queries more effectively we have reduced our call centre opening hours to 10am to 5pm. This will enable us to respond more effectively to queries through other channels.
Many of you, gardeners both old and new, will be looking to your garden over the coming months as a source of activity, for mind and body, food and distraction from the events around us, and Thompson & Morgan will continue to support you to do this. We have good stocks of seed, our plant suppliers are continuing to grow to fulfil orders and our network or couriers and Royal Mail continue to deliver to your homes.
As well as supporting our loyal customers, the health and well-being of our staff remains a priority. We are implementing working from home practices where possible, reworking shift patterns to meet the need for social distancing and have employed additional resource to ensure our working environment meets the cleanest of standards.
As a business we will continue to adapt to the ever changing landscape, and we just ask that you please bear with us at this unusual time, and rest assured that providing you with the best quality of product and service remains of the upmost importance to us.
