A distinguished delphinium producing strong spikes of semi-double blooms in a dreamy blend of pink, lilac, purple, violet-blue, sky-blue and white. Delphinium 'Pacific Giants' are excellent for cutting and add structure and presence to the back of cottage garden perennial borders. Height: 150cm (60"). Spread: 75cm (30").

How to Grow

Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.

Feed and water delphinium plants until they are fully established. Delphinium ‘Magic Fountains’ is a compact variety which should not require staking except on very windy sites. Deadhead faded delphinium flowers to encourage a second flush to be produced. Caution: All parts of delphinium are harmful if eaten and contact with the foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.
