Area Sales Manager - Garden Centres (Ideal base - Hertfordshire)

Thompson & Morgan’s unrivalled product range, marketing innovation and high calibre sales team has earned the company its position as the leading supplier of packet seeds and associated products to the UK’s "quality" Garden Centre market.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to increase business utilising effective sales and negotiation skills, with a high degree of autonomy in the planning and achievement of sales objectives. The ability to develop new business and long term, profitable relationships is seen as an important aspect within the company.

Ideally the successful candidate will have determination, self motivation and ambition and be able to demonstrate a proven track record selling quality horticultural products into garden centres.

Customer Service Agent

The UK’s most successful mail order and online horticultural company currently has temporary contracts available within the Customer Service team.

As a supplier of horticultural products to the general public, this role involves engaging with our customers via telephone, email, letter and social media, taking orders and assisting customers with their enquiries. The successful candidate will be exceptionally customer-focused, with the ability to communicate at all levels. They should also be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment under continually changing workload priorities.

Some horticultural knowledge is beneficial but not essential. Some previous customer service experience is desirable.

Contracts are expected to run until end of June 2015.
