Hardy Geranium Collection

Hardy Geranium, Cranesbill

Hardy Perennial

A cottage garden classic - easy to grow and perfect for beginner gardeners. As hardy perennials they have a spreading habit, ideal for weed suppressing ground cover as well as abundant blooms throughout summer.

This collection comprises of 1 bare root plant each of the following varieties.

'Sanguineum' – The county flower of Northumberland! This hardy variety is decorated with vivid magenta flowers during the summer months and once established will continually brighten up perennial borders.
'Sanguineum Album' – A pure white variety of the bloody cranesbill that will brighten up your garden with flushes of the delicate flowers throughout summer.
'Sanguineum Canon Miles' – a delightful herbaceous perennial that will produce an abundance of pale pink flowers, with dark veins and a lighter centre to cheer up summer borders.
'Himalayense' – growing as a compact low mat of dense foliage makes this variety a great weed-beater, with light blue flowers in summer, each with a white "eye" at the centre.
'Sanguineum Max Frei' – the dark green foliage forms a compact low mound , serving as a background for the beautiful magenta flowers which appear from late spring.
'Sanguineum New Hampshire' – a great choice for massed planting of these hardy cottage garden favourites. Quick to grow and fill the available space with its dense foliage, to be later topped with stunning, veined magenta flowers to inject a touch of drama to your border.
