Potato 'Melody'

Solanum tuberosum

Early Maincrop.

Potato 'Melody' produces good yields of superb quality, smooth, yellow-skinned tubers with appealing pale yellow flesh that store well over a long period. This versatile second early variety has a dry texture that makes it perfect as a general use potato for roasting, mashing and baking. It can also be harvested later as an early maincrop if larger tubers are required. This reliable variety has good resistance to Golden Eelworm, Common Scab, and Tuber Blight. Height and spread: 60cm (24").
