Sow outdoors or indoors. Before sowing, prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Make shallow channels (drills) in the soil 30cm (12") apart. Sow thinly, 1cm (1/2") deep in the drills, or sow into pots of free-draining compost. Lightly cover the seeds with soil, compost or vermiculite and place on the windowsill.

Thin out the plants to about 23cm (9") apart when the seedlings are large enough to handle. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Keep the plants cool and moist to prevent running to seed.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95.
Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products a maximum P&P charge of £6.90 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.
