Raised Bed - Wooden

Our new timber frame raised bed makes an attractive addition to any garden or patio, providing an easily maintained and manageable 1m x 1m area in which to grow a good selection of vegetables. You can work at a comfortable height and planting your vegetables close together in the bed will create a micro-climate - leading to healthy plants and bigger crops.

An Extension Kit is available which increases the length of the timber raised bed by 120cm.

Raised Bed : Kit

An easy way of growing a variety of mini vegetables is in raised beds. The heat absorbing panels assemble in minutes making a 1m x 1m growing area. Many gardeners divide this area up into six equal sections and sow small amounts in succession of six different vegetables. The RHS have done trials and surprisingly grown enough vegetables for the average family throughout the year from raised beds in an area measuring only 3m x 3m.

Perfect to grow superb crops of potatoes and a wide choice of vegetable plants.

Holds 320 litres of multipurpose compost (not supplied).

Raised Bed : Mini Grow

At half the size of our original raised bed, the Mini Grow still offers half a square metre of growing area. With a depth of 25cm, the internal capacity is 115 litres. This unit is ideal for growing a whole host of crops such as carrots, potatoes and salads.

Ideal used on patios, decking or even balconies, although such users may wish to purchase the optional inner liner. (Dimensions 97.5cm x 25cm).
