Description

Highly fragrant, the large blooms have an outer ring of creamy white petals, which encapsulate the rich yellow centre, giving an effect like whipped buttermilk.

Paeonies are a real feature of the herbaceous border, showing pure beauty and true elegance with an eruption of bloom from early summer onwards. Many of these flowers carry exciting scents, from honey to fragrant spice, and make an exotic cut flower. Paeonies are hardy, and easily grown in well drained, fertile soil in full sun. Regular dressings of well-rotted compost will further boost performance.
