  1. These are so resilliant!

    By Dinah Dayus 04-12-2015

I grew mine from seed four years ago, and each clump has steadiely increased year by year. I love the way the bottoms of the dry stems come back to life in spring. They turn from dry, hollow twigs to foliage from bottom up, and then produce radiating shoots for the flowers and new growth. I expected the winds to kill them off compleatly each winter becasue they are tall plants, but they are returning better each year.

  2. Huge, prolific plants, brilliant

I ran out of space to plant all these, I am new to gardening and probably not the most attentive seed propagator but these are outstanding in my cold wet Scottish garden.
