  1. Trust me to be difficult

    By Peter Humphrey 23-09-2012

These are so quick to germinate. I went against the advice and planted the seeds in individual 3" pots I read up on these and they do not like disturbance of the tap root. When the seedlings were four inches high I watered the pots prior to transplanting and very carefully tipped the plants out and planted in the garden .They did survive and did very well. They had more of a fighting chance against slugs and snails . Obviously handling with care and before the taproot gets too big are the secret to growing them in pots first. As the lady who reviewed these before me said the picture doesn't do them justice. I have already bought another packet for next year!

  2. Amazing colours and will definitely grow again

    By Julie Riseborough 14-08-2012

I was really impressed by this lupin and sorry to be cheeky but your photo does not really do it justice! The seeds were very easy to germinate and the plants have enjoyed a range of situations with equal impact. A really great value product and I wish that my photos had been good enough to enter into the competition as the colours are so vivid. Might try to upload one on facebook so other customers can see what I mean! I bought some Lupin plants (from another supplier) and none of them came up so I'm now hooked on growing them from seed.
