Grow Viburnum plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any moderately fertile, well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Viburnum shrubs at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
Water regularly throughout the growing season until young plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Viburnum requires little pruning. After flowering cut back stems to a healthy bud and reduce any stems that spoil the symmetry of the plant. Caution: Harmful if eaten.

  1. Also received very poor plant!!

    By Gloria Procter 03-07-2015

Hi, Interesting that the above review showed receipt of very poor plants costing £29.99 each!! I have taken receipt of one of these plants today and am absolutely disgusted....£29.99 for such a small plant! I'm sure that my local garden centre would have supplied a mature plant for this price. I can't believe this is the correct price for such a small plant? I am also looking for a full cash refund! This is the second disappointing plant delivery. At the end of April I received my herb delivery....not as expected!

  2. Very poor plants

    By Bryan Heap 02-07-2015

My two plants costing £49.99 plus postage arrived today. They are in 2inch pots, a few inches tall, with spare dead leaves and bone dry compost. They may be dead! The website does not as far as I can see give any indication of the size of the plants (for £25 pounds each)!! I propose to ask for an apology and a full refund.
