Pot up wallflower plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on free draining soil in full sun. Erysimum plants are tolerant of most neutral or alkaline soils and will even cope well on very poor soils.
Feed and water plants until they are fully established. Trim back wallflowers after flowering to prevent them from becoming leggy.

I ordered Wallflower Winter Party in error. I wanted the traditional tall plants and was very surprised when in very early Spring flowers started to appear on small bush like plants. However, I am delighted as they are beautiful mixed colours and mass of flowers. I planted them with Polyanthus Firecracker and my tubs have been a riot of colour for over two months now and it is still only April.
