Pot up Nepeta plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Grow Catmint plants outdoors in any well drained garden soil in full sun or semi shade.
Water regularly until Catmint plants are fully established. Cut back individual flower stems as they fade to encourage a second flush of Catmint flowers to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Nepeta plants in spring.
Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Not very impressed so far. The plugs are not growing well, after 6 weeks, very spindley and several have died. They are growing more like a trailing plant, not at all upright. I just hope when we finally get to plant them out that they produce a good display. Pricey for what we have.
