Hardy Perennial

This useful hardy perennial forms dense mats of evergreen foliage that makes superb ground cover. From late spring to early summer, Ajuga reptans f. albiflora 'Alba' is decorated with small white flower spikes that will brighten even the darkest corner of your garden. The nectar rich flowers are a magnet for pollinating insects. This versatile perennial plant is ideal for creeping through woodland areas, rockeries, or at the front of cottage garden borders. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Grow Bugle plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Plants will perform best in partial shade, as full sun can cause leaf scorch. Ajuga will even tolerate poor soils in full shade. Makes excellent ground cover for shady corners.
Ajuga plants are virtually maintenance-free, and do not required any pruning. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps every three years to maintain their vigour.
