Begonia plugs can be planted straight into flower pouches but are best potted on first and grown on in bright, frost-free conditions if they are to be displayed in baskets, window boxes, pots and beds. Begonia plants can be transplanted into their final containers once they have increased in size. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise begonia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before placing them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds.
Feed and water Begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new begonia flower buds to drop. Deadhead faded begonia flowers regularly to extend the flowering period and encourage more blooms to be produced.

  1. Stunning foliage and flower!

    By Gareth Jones 06-09-2016

After success last year with the superb 'apricot shades' I ordered some of these as well. They filled their pots rapidly and give a huge number of beautiful flowers, contrasting with the dark/ exotic leaves. One plant easily fills a 12 inch pot, will flower for many months and other than a bit of water and feed requires no other attention. Also grew the variety 'inferno' this year, which I can also recommend. Thanks T&M!

Totally pleased with these plants. Yes there not big when you receive them, by God do they make up for it! Everybody remarks on my patio pots. With there mass of fabulous orange blooms...so pretty and continued right up to end of October. I'm going to order them next year, for myself and my mother. I used three plants per pot and that was enough. Real show stopper! Must have !
