Awarded an All American Selection medal for its unusual azalea-shaped snapdragon flowers. Antirrhinum ‘Madame Butterfly’ creates a riot of colour throughout summer. The unique, double snapdragon petals prevent insects from pollinating the flowers, so they last much longer than single-flowered varieties. Perfect for a long-lasting display in cottage garden beds, borders and containers. This award winning variety also makes a superb cut flower. Height: 65cm (26"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Pot up snapdragon plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Pinch out growing tips while the plants are still small to encourage bushier growth. Once they are well grown, acclimatise antirrhinum plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting outdoors on fertile, free draining soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Antirrhinums particularly dislike wet ground, so improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand prior to planting.
Feed and water regularly until snapdragons are fully established. Deadhead faded antirrhinum flowers frequently throughout summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95.

    I bought 42 plug plants this year I recieved over sixty once I had seperated the plugs I had 100% succes rate with all my plants which are still in flower now 1st week in October excellent plants
