A boldly coloured tulip with red and white striped blooms and unusual, red-lined foliage. Tulip ‘St. George’ is ideal for adding a patriotic theme to your borders and patio containers. Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a P&P charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a P&P charge of £4.95.
Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products a maximum P&P charge of £6.90 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

    Got these last year off TM, when they were on offer, to be honest, i was a bit half and half about the colours, from the picture on here, but how glad I am to have got them, they are realy lovely, very pleased with them, I want more of these, so shall keep an eye out for TM's great offers. I started shopping on here last year, and am very pleased, if something is not quite right, TM's great customer service, sorts things out, to the customers satsfiation.
