Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.

Reviews
  1. Stunning

    By Aileen Collins 01-05-2014

I had some initial issues with bulbs arriving damaged due to poor packaging but this was resolved by customer services. I am glad to say the tulips didn't disappoint. The flowers are amazing and the foliage striped with veins of deep people. I will be ordering more for next year!

  2. Stunners!

    By Christine Nolan 22-04-2014

These tulips are wonderful and the colour is amazeing. So unusual with striped leaves to set them oss. They grow just the right height as not to be ruined by strong winds. These are the ones for me. Now my favourite tulips. Please put them on offer again so other people will see how lovely they are (and I can get more). Mrs C Nolan East Lothian
