Potentilla fruticosa 'Marian Red Robin' is a hardy, deciduous shrub which, during the whole of summer and most of the autumn, displays vibrant, rich red flowers with bright yellow centre. A small variety of Shrubby Cinquefoil, this plant is ideal for the front of Shrub borders where it will shine out amongst the others, the grey/green foliage providing the perfect background for its blooms. Also suitable for container growing where it can be enjoyed on your patio too. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Grow potentilla in any moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
