Tsuga canadensis (Large Plant)

Eastern Hemlock

Hardy Tree

The Eastern Hemlock is an attractive conifer, which can be grown as a free-standing, specimen or trained as a decorative hedge. The evergreen foliage of Tsuga canadensis has a filigree-style, and looks much like Yew, but with pretty cones rather than the usual red berries. Eastern Hemlock trees are easy to grow, low-maintenance and can last for a lifetime! With maturity, Tsuga forms a large tree with a graceful, pyramid shape which looks its best when given plenty of space to grow! Height: Up to 25m (80'). Spread: Up to 10m (30').
