Scabiosa 'Blue Eyes'

Incredible flower power makes this a stand-out Scabiosa. ‘Blue Eyes’ may be small and compact but this little powerhouse will produce over 50 blooms in a season. Low, rounded growth makes it perfect for containers and small borders where it maximises space with an abundance of blue pincushion flowers from spring into summer. Like other Scabiosa, the flowers offer a banquet to bees and butterflies, making it great for wildlife gardens. However, in contrast to other varieties ‘Blue Eyes’ does not flop. Its abundance of blooms are held on short, sturdy flower stems so it is perfect for low groundcover, edging borders and paths or planting in all types of containers. Exceptionally fast-growth also means that ‘Blue Eyes’ will establish, spread and flower quickly. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 30cm (12in).
