It is excellent at retaining water when used as a mulch on the surface or when mixed in to the soil. This reduces your watering requirements through the dry summer months. The health and structure of the soil and compost is greatly improved, meaning stronger and healthier plants. Perfect for mixing into grow bags, hanging baskets, plant pots, vegetable and flower beds, and when planting trees and roses. Rich in nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and other trace elements, it’s broken down gradually by organisms in the soil as a long-term, slow release fertiliser, with an NPK ratio of: 4.1:2.2:3.
