Barley-grass & wheatgrass seed mix

Suitable for rabbits, cats and dogs to eat Barley grass and wheat grass are both nutritionally similar and contain a range of vitamins and minerals, along with amino acids and antioxidants. However barley grass has slightly higher mineral content (particularly for iron and potassium) and antioxidant properties. Both barley grass and wheat grass are supportive for the digestive system and promoting gut health. However, barley grass offers additional support for the nervous system, along with cooling anti-inflammatory properties. By growing a small tub you not only know they contain no contaminants or pollutants but are also giving your animal access to these benefits as well. As both grasses taste slightly different, with barley grass having a slight bitterness, whereas wheatgrass has a more bland flavour, growing two grasses allows them the opportunity to choose.
