  • Ground-hugging habit
  • The first flower variety to bloom in space!
  • Fabulous bright orange flowers
  • Blooms all summer long
Zinnia 'Profusion Orange' has a fantastic claim to fame! It was the very first flower variety to bloom aboard the International Space Station! Not only is this an award winner, it's also a unique landscaping zinnia with a ground-hugging habit, making it perfect for planting as ground cover. Covered with orange blooms all summer, these cheery zinnia plants will brighten any garden whether you plant them in borders as ground cover or as handy fillers for the fronts of beds. Try them in containers too - they'll be happy in sun or partly shaded areas.

We despatch these packs of 30 tough super-size plants at the perfect time for planting out, usually before blooms form, which helps them establish quicker for better root growth and then a longer, stronger display of flowers. All Garden Ready Plants are grown in incredicompost® and fed with incredibloom®, guaranteeing best ever performance.

How to Grow
Pot up zinnia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise zinnias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days and transplant them into their final positions in containers and borders. Plant zinnias in fertile, well drained soil in full sun. When growing zinnias pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
More Info
Water regularly until zinnia plants are fully established. Deadhead faded zinnia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
