Description
A recent variety of Elm with improved disease resistance. Ulmus pendula 'Mauro' produces a crown of pendant branches that form a handsome tree with a pronounced, weeping habit. Large, dark-green leaves turn a rustic yellow-brown in September, before falling as winter approaches. In spring, small, purple-red flowers appear, followed by pale green, winged fruits during June. This striking weeping Elm makes a superb specimen tree for creating a focal point in a large garden. Height: 7m (23'). Spread: 5m (16').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 12 litre potted ulmus plant (KC0724)

How to Grow
Grow Elm trees in any moist, well drained soil. Ulmus enjoys a sunny position but will happily tolerate a part shaded position.
More Info
Feed and water regularly after planting. Once established, Elm will require virtually no maintenance.
