This peony-flowered Tulip literally explodes with colour in spring! Tropical, bright orange, fully double blooms burst open from rounded buds to create a bold display in beds, borders and containers. Plant Tulip 'Exotic Orange' in large groups for maximum impact. Cut a few for a spring bouquet that will certainly brighten your windowsill! Height: 45cm (18”). Spread: 15cm (6”).

Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
More Info After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.
