Luscious Earthwalker 2013-08-29
I have been growing sunflowers for three years now and whilst I have been able to grow giant and dwarf varieties I have always wanted to grow something other than traditional yellow, so this year I purchased some Earthwalkers from Thompson and Morgan and I was not disappointed. The first flower is a luscious red brown colour and I have counted another five buds on the plant too, so when the first flower has faded there will soon be more. And it is tall too. I expected my Earthwalker to be smaller in height than my giants but it is as tall as some of them. A beautiful plant and one I will definitely grow again.
