Description
Sorbus hemsleyi 'John Bond' is an intriguing variety, sharing some characteristics with its Whitebeam cousins. The grey-green foliage is deeply furrowed with attractive downy-white undersides that catch the light as the move in the breeze. Showy clusters of creamy-white flowers attract plenty of insects in spring. The flowers are replaced by brown berries by autumn. This compact deciduous tree has a neat columnar habit that is perfectly suited to small gardens and confined spaces. Height: 4m (13’). Spread: 2.5m (8’).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Feed and water well until fully established. Sorbus requires virtually no pruning. Simply remove any damaged, crossing or misplaced branches in spring if necessary.
