Description

Himalayan Senecio is a real sun lover - perfect for a brightly lit windowsill! The narrow, fleshy leaves are an eye catching blue-green colour, forming a compact plant with a neat, upright habit. Senecio has earned itself a reputation for being particularly easy to grow. Given plenty of light and just an occasional watering, these plants will thrive with very little effort at all. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

How to Grow
Position Senecio in a warm room away from cold draughts and radiators, with a constant temperature above 16C (60F). For the best leaf colour, choose a bright position in full sun.
More Info
Senecio requires only occasional watering. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings and allow the pot to drain well. Avoid leaving Senecio in standing water as this will cause stem rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
