Description

Low maintenance and rewarding, these compact, drought tolerant Sempervivum plants are perfect for filling pots or tucking into crevices in rockeries, alpine areas and dry stone walls where they will virtually look after themselves. Also a lovely, easy-care house plant, you can enjoy this succulent on the windowsill or in the conservatory where it will be quite happy to be left unwatered for most of the time - perfect if you’re often away from home. This variety of House Leek with red foliage provides a hint of colour and a subtle warmth to the colour scheme in the form of neat rosettes of fleshy leaves. Over the years they multiply to form a dense, spreading mound. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 30cm (12")

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Houseleeks require extremely good drainage. Grow sempervivum plants in sharply drained, gritty soil in full sun. Hairy species particularly resent cold, wet conditions and are best provided with some protection from winter weather.
More Info
Houseleeks are drought resistant and need little attention throughout the growing season. Divide overcrowded clumps in late spring to encourage their spread.
