Description
A worthy holder of a RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM), Swiss Willow is a dwarf, hardy and deciduous shrub that is both easy to grow and maintain. In spring, silver-grey catkins will appear on the bare branches before silvery leaves with a downy, almost silken underside form a dense, compact, rounded shaped plant that looks great in a rockery or part of a shrub border. Small enough to be grown in a large container but tough enough to be used in a coastal garden, Salix helvetica is a great all round, reliable plant that will prove itself for many years in your garden. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
