Description
Rudbeckia 'Enchanted Embers' is a captivating variety that comes straight from our own breeding programme. The mellow, burnt orange shades of each semi-double flower deepen as the blooms mature. This exceptional Coneflower has superb vigour, forming a well branched plant that will fill a patio pot with ease. Like all Rudbeckia, the nectar-rich blooms are a magnet for pollinating insects. Versatile and easy to grow, it compliments any planting scheme from modern contemporary spaces to traditional cottage gardens. Plant this reliable annual in a patio pot, or grow it in large swathes throughout beds and borders for a rich tapestry of colour that will last all summer. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 45cm (18").

1 rudbeckia pot collection (1 jumbo plant & 1 x Modern Grey Patio Pot) (KB3376)
6 rudbeckia jumbo plug plants (KB8273)
3 rudbeckia jumbo plug plants (KB8272)
1 rudbeckia jumbo plug plant (KB2699)

How to Grow
Pot up rudbeckia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting outdoors later on. When plants are well-grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them outdoors in sun or partial shade. Rudbeckia enjoys a fertile, preferably heavy soil that is rich in organic matter and well drained. Coneflowers resent drought and dislike soils that dry out in summer.
More Info
Feed and water rudbeckia plants regularly. Deadhead faded rudbeckia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
