Klettermaxe roses have been specifically selected and bred to be particularly disease resistant and robust while being equally beautiful. Rose 'Klettermaxe Rosanna' has blooms of a striking coral pink colour and are highly fragrant too. Each flower grows in a small cluster of four or five which means that they are also suitable for cutting and bringing indoors where the wonderful scent can be enjoyed day and night. A strong climber, this great variety of climbing rose will quickly cover walls and fences and add an intense colour to your planting scheme. Height: 250cm (98"). Spread: 200cm (78").

Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Rosehips and petals can be used in making syrups and the petals will add flavour to cold drinks or fruit dishes. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Flowering Months
Feed and water rose plants regularly and deadhead faded flowers. When growing roses it is necessary to remove any suckers that arise from the base of the plant, below the graft union. In late summer, begin pruning hybrid musk roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Then reduce the stems by ⅔. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.
Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
