Description
Potentilla fruticosa 'Hachmann's Gigant' is a deciduous, woody shrub, with a rounded, spreading habit. Like all Shrubby Cinquefoil it is free flowering if grown in a sunny spot, producing large, bright yellow, single flowers about 4cm (1") in diameter. Huge numbers of buds and flowers are produced throughout the summer. This hardy, resilient shrub is ideal for rockeries, borders or creating a low hedge. It shows excellent drought tolerance as a low maintenance, ground cover plant. Height and spread: 1m (3').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
