Description
Apricot pink, crepe paper petals form sumptuous large flowers, with distinctive black markings that surround the dark central eye. The short lived blooms of oriental poppy 'Prinzessin Victoria Louise' rise on tall bristly stems, followed in late summer by attractive seedheads. This stunning hardy perennial will certainly add a touch of luxury to your cottage garden borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 1 litre potted papaver plant (64478)

How to Grow
When growing Oriental Poppies, choose a sunny position in rich fertile, well drained soil. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info
Deadhead faded poppy flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Cut back old foliage to ground level in autumn. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Oriental poppy in spring.
