Description
A small, dome shaped dwarf spruce, Picea glauca 'Barus' is an undemanding evergreen variety that is also very slow growing. A great plant for growing in rockeries and alpine displays, this diminutive conifer is also useful for growing in containers where it can be the centre-point around which seasonal bedding can be planted. The grey-green needle foliage of this variety stand out well in full sun but will also grow happily in partial shade. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Picea glauca plants in moist, but well-drained, acidic soil in full sun. Choose a position that is sheltered from cold, drying winds. Alternatively grow in large containers, using ericaceous (acidic) compost.
More Info
Once established, Picea plants require no pruning or maintenance.
