Description

Petunia 'Sweetunia Trio' offers a wonderful mix of sumptuous bicolour blooms on compact, trailing plants that flower prolifically all summer long. The blooms are self-cleaning so there’s no need for sticky dead-heading. The ‘Sweetunia’ series are hardworking, reliable and versatile. Grow them in beds, baskets, window boxes or patio pots – wherever you plant them, you can rely on a fabulous display. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Petunia 'Sweetunia' Trio comprises 5 plants each of:

  • Petunia ‘Sweetunia Johnny Flame’ - A dazzling colour combination of burgundy-red with cerise-pink edges.
  • Petunia ‘Sweetunia Fiona Flash’ - Sumptuous, velvety red blooms with a burgundy splash.
  • Petunia ‘Sweetunia Starfish’ - Pale pink flowers with darker pink veining and a central star.

15 petunia Postiplug plants (5 of each variety) (KB8516)
6 petunia Postiplug plants (2 of each variety) (KB4537)
12 petunia Postiplug plants (4 of each variety) (KB4630)

How to Grow
Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water petunia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of petunia flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
