Description
Be one of the first to grow this unique genetically compact grandiflora Petunia with an eye popping star pattern. Blooming all summer long with large flowers in a luxurious shade of crimson with a flashy bright white star, Petunia Success! ‘HD Rose Star’ will provide a dazzling show in any planting scheme with the minimum of fuss. Compact in size but not compromising on flower power, this variety is ideal for patio containers and a great gap filler for the front of the border. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 30cm (12").

1 packet (25 seeds) (KA9958)

Sowing

Sow late winter to mid spring at 20-25C (68-77F) on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Keep damp but not wet. Do not exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 10-21 days.

When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12”) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil. For pot plants, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3”) pots; grow cool, well ventilated, give plenty of light, but shade from direct sun.

More Info
Water regularly until plants are fully established. For best results, provide a light, well-drained soil in full sun.
