Description
This rare hybrid cross between a herbaceous peony and a tree peony has created this stunning intersectional hybrid. The result is a statuesque Itoh Peony, very much sought after for its floral display, upright habit and fragrance. These top performing plants just keep on going, lasting 40 years or more under ideal conditions. Peony 'Everlasting Treasure' provides a captivating addition to a herbaceous border and it makes a superb cut flower too. Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 150cm (59"). Supplied as 2/3 eye bareroot.

2 bare root peony plants (KA2372)
1 bare root peony plant (14770)

How to Grow
Bareroots should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow peonies in a sunny or semi shaded position on fertile, moist, well drained soil. Peony plants prefer a heavy soil that is rich in organic matter. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting. Plant herbaceous peonies so that the top of the crown is just 5cm (2”) below the soil surface, taking care not to plant too deeply as this may prevent or delay peonies from flowering.
More Info
Water regularly until peony plants are fully established. Thereafter, herbaceous peonies require little maintenance and will grow happily for many years if left undisturbed. However, they will appreciate a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost applied around the base of the plant in spring. Plants may take several years to establish before they produce their spectacular peony flowers.
